yfile_04

If the path names are all correct they will be shown in black.

You will now want to either produce an output file or View a file within the View window and then produce an output file. The options are:

  • run job
  • load job
  • generate products
  • run all active jobs

Each of these options on the job form has a spinner disc spinnerwhich when selected will start a process. This is what happens when each is selected.

run job
When selected, the input files (cad, settings, renderstyles) will be used to generate the output files (products) for that job.

  • If the View window is closed it won't be opened.
  • If the View window is open a View of the current product will be produced. This does not lengthen the file production process.

load job
When selected, the input files (cad, settings, renderstyles) will be used to generate the Cad Publisher View for that job.

  • If the View window was closed it will be opened.
  • If the View window was open, the View of the selected job will be generated.
  • No output files will be produced.

generate products
When selected, the input files (cad, settings, renderstyles) will be used to generate the output files (products) for that job.

  • When the View window is open, the products (output files) of the current View will be generated. There is no re-processing of the cad file.
  • If the View window is closed the output files will be produced without the View window opening. This is the same scenario as if you had selected "run job".

run all active jobs
When selected, the input files (cad, settings, renderstyles) will be used to generate the output files (products) for all of the jobs in the left hand job list that are active.

Next - Running all of the Jobs

Hint
A typical interactive scenario will be to "load job", work up the settings and renderstyles then "generate products".

A typical file production session will be just to select the job and "run job".
