Overview

From the Window menu you can open the various Cad Publisher windows. This can be very useful when a window is sitting behind the main program window, which is the viewing of the program.

Open the:

  • Info
  • Job Editor
  • Settings Editor
  • Renderstyles Editor

and:

  • Cascade - cascade the Cad Publisher windows.
  • Tile - tile the Cad Publisher windows.
  • Arrange Icons - doesn't seem to do too much.

The Window menu was really designed to bring a settings or renderstyles form/window to the front of the View if it got hidden. Clicking on Window > Settings Editor would bring that Widow to the front.

If you open the program and then select Window > Settings Editor then you get an empty Settings form opening, which you then need to open a named settings file into, or do a "save as" to save that blank form as a new named settings file.

It was set up more with that in mind, starting off from a blank settings form, you could then read in a dxf file into that settings and save it under a new name, remebering that Levels 3 and 4 can use names other than cp.set as in Level 2.
