The purpose of Cad Publisher is to give you control over the graphical output of PostScript, EPS, Acrobat PDF, Adobe Illustrator, WMF, EMF, TIFF, BMP and PNG. Plus the engineering output of Gerber and Excellon filescreation and rendering of drawings produced by CAD software.

The software doesn't claim to do everything, it will do a lot of things for a lot of users.

The strength of CAD programs is their ability to manipulate a geometric data base.

The strength of Cad Publisher is the ability to transform a file of data and instructions into a real, visible form on a rendering device such as a laser printer, imagesetter, film recorder, gerber plotter, drill, electronic product for CD ROM production, internet or intranet viewing.
