Assigning a renderstyle

Once you have created a renderstyle or renderstyles they need to be assigned to the layers or colors you want them to render in the settings (.set) file.

For this example we will be assigning the renderstyle to the layer names.

  • Select the abc.set window and select the Rendering tab to open the Renderstyle assigning area.
  • Make sure "by cad layer" is selected as the assignment method.

Currently all of the layer names are assigned the renderstyle called "default". We need to change that.

  • Select the renderstyle name called default currently assigned to the circles layer name.
  • A drop down box arrow will appear on the right.
  • Selecting the arrow opens up the list of renderstyle names from the abc.rsl file, which is the file we have loaded.
  • You can now select renderstyle names from the abc.rsl file.
  • Select the renderstyle name Circles - filled that was created.
  • Select enter to accept the change.
  • Select the save icon.
  • That renderstyle is now assigned to that layer.

Select the update icon to update the Viewer to see the changes.
