Viewing the Press print

Select the separations tab and the composite view of the color separations should look like this.

The starting point of the separations will be that the cmyk playes are on.

This view is a composite of the c, m, y, k, 1, 2, 3, and 4 plates and is a fantastic way to view your work before producing the output files for film.

This saves a lot of time and money.

The composite, c, m, y, k, 1, 2, 3, and 4 plates are all used for the production of color separations in the offset printing process.

There is nothing in the 1, 2, 3 or 4 Views, remembering our internal defaults. so the separations view is made up of the c, m, y and k plates.

Select the individual c, m, y and k plates to see what is happening.
